Our nursery spaces and facilities at Regent Terrace, Cambridge

Our mobile and non-mobile babies benefit from a large, bright, open plan day room with the latest sensory equipment, a dedicated sleep room with monitored temperature, and no more than three babies per member of staff.
Toddlers' days are structured around their changing interests, with a Story Corner, sand and water play, a construction area and a messy play area, a staffing ratio of one to four children, supervised garden access and toilets to encourage independence.
Preschool children follow the Early Years Foundation Stage in a settled routine working in small groups, with open access to the garden every day for activities linked to the seven areas of learning.
We have two gardens the children can access every day whatever the weather, plus an all-weather outdoor play area for free-flow exploration, and sit directly opposite Parker's Piece.
Our Baby, Toddler and Preschool spaces are specially designed and equipped with familiar homely items such as bookcases, tables, chairs and sofas, just much smaller than you are used to.
Hygge is the Scandinavian term for a comfortable, cosy and warm feeling. We have extended this into our nursery setting, incorporating the Curiosity Approach with soft furnishing, subtle lighting, open ended resources and plants, so children experience a sense of wellbeing and of being cared for.
Children can explore their environment with confidence, knowing where to access their favourite resources and experiencing awe and wonder from activities planned by our professional team, enabling a sense of home and belonging.
